The Verity Oscar Speech

As we were waiting for the Verity Mom results, I had two videos ready to go--one congratulating Carrie and one congratulating Timara.  What can I say?  After working for the Red Cross I learned to hope for the best and prepare for the worst.  

So first and foremost, I would like to thank Carrie and Timara for being amazing support through this process as well formidable opponents.  It is an interesting juxtaposition of roles for sure, but this is a zany way to get a job.  

That being said,  I wanted to thank the Verity Mom team, all the friend and family and friends of friends and family who took the time to check out Washington’s oldest and coolest credit union.  (I mean that sincerely-- I met a woman who has “Silver Lining Specialist” on her business card.)

I would also like to thank all of the Verity Moms out there who are about to give me ideas, advice, and inspiration for the coming year.  I can’t wait to meet you!
