Never Wake a Sleeping Baby

When I was teaching middle school, one of my students would stand by the door to inform the class if I was properly caffeinated or not for first period. 

Yeah, not my best self before 10AM. 

The thing that scared me the most about having a kid was the possibility that I would be forced to be functional at the crack of dawn.

But I got lucky. I got Roo. 

Goes to bed at 10PM. Wakes up around 8AM. Has been known to sleep in until 9:30AM. 

Being a work-at-homer, we don't usually have to be anywhere so it works out in our favor. 

But Roo loves the water. She loves pools and baths and low-temp hot tubs.

And the swimming classes a the Y start at 9:30. In the morning.

To us, that is like being somewhere at 6:30AM for normal people. Very...very...early.

So here is my 30 minutes of waking Roo up condensed into 1 minute.

My daughter. Not a morning person.
