Hi Everyone...

This is a blog post by Verity Mom finalist, Carrie Radford

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Verity Credit Union, Rosemary the Verity Mom, along with all the other applicants for what's turned out to be an incredible ride. No matter what happens Friday, I am completely humbled by the sheer volume of support and at'ta-girls you've heaped upon me in these last weeks. This is one talented field of mamas. I count myself very lucky to be in their company. In the end, it really isn't whether or not I've found my next job. What's more important to our family is the fact that we have found a wonderful group of people at Verity whose priorities so clearly lie right in our own community. People helping people right here at home -- it's great to be a part of that. The spirit behind Verity and credit unions generally... well, I don't have words for just how welcome that breath of fresh air is with the fragile state of our economy. Thank you for opening our eyes to a better way of managing our money. Yours is a wonderful community in which to belong.
