Field Trip with the Therapy Dogs

The Delta Society Pet Partners is a national program located in Bellevue that certifies pets and their people to participate in animal-assisted activities and animal-assisted therapies in such places as hospitals, retirement homes, prisons and schools. My friend Bobbie is having her dog Wally certified as a therapy dog. As part of the program, she took Wally on an organized field trip to a fire station. She asked if I wanted to come along and I said 'yes', thinking it might make an interesting Verity Mom video. Besides, what woman could pass up the opportunity to hang out with a bunch of firefighters? ; )
