Don't Wear Spanx

A few years ago, I found the most beautiful dress at Deluxe Junk. It was the dress I had been looking for my entire life, sparkly white, draping v neck line, very early-60's Marilyn. And like Marilyn, it juuust fit. 

I wore it every year for my birthday in my twenties.

Then, my body changed. More here, more there, heck, there was just more. Enter the fatty panties.

I was able to squeeze into the dress with the help of space-aged fabrics constricting my breathing and movement, but I realized that it might not be worth it when I peeled off the flesh-colored compressor after an hour. 

But I still have the dress and the fatty panties. It might be time to reconsider- that MadMen look is so hot right now.

Chat with Women had a great video with Pam and Rochelle discussing the good and the bad of shaping garments, so I decided to make a video response. 

I put most of my big life choices out to committee, so I invited my sisters to help me out with this. You will see they are both wickedly intelligent and funny and beautiful and make me laugh in a way only dogs can hear. You're going to adore them.
