Blissed out in the Golden State
Recently I went to Berkeley to rendezvous with my friend Jen. The trip was a little bit Thelma and Louise meets Oprah and Gayle. We drove to Napa where I confirmed once and for all that I am NOT a Sauvignon Blanc kind of gal. Then it was off to Harbin Hot Springs--a place to "Discover Self's most precious jewels." In spite of the fact that we didn't make it to the "Loving Release Retreat" or the "Unconditional Dance," our time was golden. We hiked and soaked and slurped up the all-around California goodness.
My take-away: spring break is not just for kids. Get your gal pal and hit the open road. It's good for ya!
