A bit about me:

My name is Claire Holder, I live in Enumclaw and have been with my husband for 11 years. We have a two year old girl and are trying for another child. I currently stay at home with my daughter and make items out of recycled materials to help our income. I work from home so that gives me a lot of say in what I do with my day. I absolutely love that I get that choice, since I have worked all of my life for big companies that can't offer that kind of flexibility. I would love to be the next Verity Mom and share my life with you. I think it would be an amazing experience and a great opportunity. Thank you for taking the time to look at my video.

How Motherhood has Changed My Life

How has it not changed my life? That’s more the question! I never really was sure if I wanted to have kids until I got pregnant. But the moment I saw that positive sign on that little stick, my heart started fluttering for something I suddenly wanted more than anything. My first pregnancy ended with a miscarriage, but not long after, I was pregnant again and this one was a keeper. Her name is Karlee Anne and I have never loved something so much. I know that sounds so scripted, but I just can’t explain it any other way! My life before Karlee was very active with my dirt bike, snowmobile, triathlons and any thing else that I thought might be fun.

Even though I gave up most of those hobbies for now, my days are filled with things that we do together. Hiking, crafts, gardening and cleaning. Yes, cleaning, you should see this girl clean! And she’s only two. I might be creating a problem in the future. Can you say ADHD?

Anyway, there are amazing days and there are the challenging ones. We’ve all had them. So I would like to share them with you. Laugh at the ridiculousness of what is happening and share the challenges. There is no better therapy for a bad day than a little laughter . . . and I don’t mind if it’s directed at me! Heaven knows my life has a lot of those moments right now. Might as well make use of them!
