A bit about me:

I am 29. I live in Milton, WA. I am married to a future Rock-Star and have 2 "Spirited" toddlers. My husband and I have 2 small businesses: Brandon Ghorley Emcee/DJ Services, and his band, The BGP (as seen on America's Got Talent). I love to research, find insane deals, make things, host "Girl's Nights", and play with and teach my children. Oh, and I can't wait to meet YOU!

My blog post:

Finding Alli:

The transformation I’ve been through is nothing short of a miracle. Well, maybe I’m being a little dramatic, but I’m not stretching it that much. Along the way, I’ve found that I’m not alone in what I was experiencing.

If you were to jump into your Delorian and travel back in time 4 years, you would meet a much different person. Don't get me wrong. I was still a kind, compassionate, outgoing, person... But I had an edge of pride and selfishness, and that edge had to go! I was worried about being like everyone else around me, and I had lost myself. I wanted to dress like them, decorate like them, eat like them and spend money like them. I don't remember when, exactly, but something clicked. A switch was flipped. I realized that in striving to be like everyone around me, I had become discontent and bitter, caused strife in my marriage, and I had become a very diluted version of who I could be. I was not the example I wanted my children to see. If I didn’t like myself, how could they? So with Evey in tow, and Jack on the way, I began my “road to recovery”.

My last 4 years as a mother have completely changed my life. There have been some low, gut-wrenching times, but there have been so many amazing victories! After years of insecurity and feeling alone, I finally found myself. Being a Mom is the hardest thing I've ever done and I wouldn't change anything about it! I love my determined, supportive husband, Brandon. I love my Beautiful, Spirited Children. I love the woman I've become, and that my children are always challenging me to become an even better version of myself.

Life will always be changing. We will always be stretched and challenged. Let's go on this journey together! Let's discover who we are, embrace it, and connect with new Moms who are on that same journey. I can’t wait to share these experiences with you!

Allison
